Good afternoon I am Sgt.Burt ,with the Maypearl ISD School District Police Department. I wanted to take this time to express my gratitude and to recognize
one of your handlers that assisted administration and myself in a
Emergency Call out.
On the morning of April 28th 2022 at approximately 8:30 a.m. I was notified by our A ssistant principal of unknown contraband brought to her.
After viewing the contraband also known as three white round unmarked tablets. I requested if I could do a quick sweep on the buses where they were extracted from. After investigating different buses I retrieved a fair amount of these white tablets in between the bus seat and wrapped in an empty cookie bag. I then stopped and requested that I can reach out to you guys to get a emergency canine out to our location to search the Buses.
The quick response I received from your Scheduler Amanda was also greatly appreciated.
I met with several administrators and our Chief of police, Stephen Davis and your Handler Maisie Nelson and K-9, Spirit.
Your handler did an exceptional job, Maisie was professional, knowledgeable and went out of her way to double check Spirits Pre Alerts and was able you give me immediate confirmation.
I am beyond impressed and greatful that we use Interquest as one of our resources for making our campuses safer.
